I used this too. Stopped as soon as I finished the book. I did start smoking again after leaving the Army for about a year but stopped again with no cravings since. I've been smoke free for at least two years.

I find eating liquorice stops the wanting of a cigarette. Or anything aniseed flavoured.

Second time I gave up it was much easier. It takes a while to get the shit out of your blood.

I also read the Alan Carr book and was able to quit without cravings.
I sometimes have dreams where I'm smoking a cigarette but other than that I don't miss it at all and it's been well over a year.

Only e-liquid worked for me. I've had no desire at all to smoke a stinking cig since and that was 12 months ago.
Don't get those shitty disposable ones though - a decent battery like an eleaf 30w for under £30 and a tank like a Genitank for under a tenner and you're laughing.
And I don't care if I look like a massive poof.

I'm pretty sure it differs from individual to individual.
I gave up for good 20 odd years ago. I either smoked heavily or didn't smoke, there was nothing in between. However I always found it relatively easy to give up. A couple of days of murder and then rapidly easier. So I smoked for a couple of years, then gave up for a couple of years and on it went. I used to actually enjoy smoking which was why I'd take it up again periodically.
The last time I gave up I found it more difficult, took about a week from memory before I wasn't thinking about it all the time. For that reason I thought I'd better stop for good.
11 days is a decent stretch. Though I've known people start again after 2-3 months its very unusual in my experience. 11 days is on the home straight. The vast majority of people cave in much earlier.

Depends on the person.
My mum smoked for 61 years until last year when she just thought she would stop.
She stopped and never craved a cigarette since.
